Freshly Brewed Projects: Christmas DSP

The inspiration for this Freshly Brewed Project is ….

Christmas Designer Series Paper

There are so many beautiful and colourful Christmas Designer Series Paper to choose from in the catalogues this year. If you are like me you will have trouble cutting them up. But that is exactly what you need to do so that you can create some amazing projects to share with others. The following cards are a project that I created for one of my Technique classes using the Floating Pop-Up Card by Julie Davison.

For this creation I used some of the items from the Heartwarming Hugs Suite. Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Warm Hugs Bundle. The sentiment is from the Winter Woods Stamp set. Real Red & Mossy Meadow card stock and ink. Silver Metallic-edge Ribbon and White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. Whisper White card stock, Rhinestone Jewels and Layering circle dies.

These cards have a simple design using the Designer Series Paper on the front with the pop of wow inside. I chose just two different sheets and as they have a different pattern on each side that gave me 4 different card fronts. Plus one more sheet to cut out the circles for the embellishment inside the card.

By cutting the Designer Series paper into pieces 7.5cm x 9.5cm you will get 12 card fronts from one piece of 12 x 12 sheet of DSP.

Now let’s go hopping …

There are so many way you can use Designer Series Paper in your projects and Christmas is a great time to use it. We have six crafty Demonstrators in today’s Blog Hop. My friend Jeanne Moss is next on the list …

Here’s the complete list of all participants …
