The inspiration for this Freshly Brewed Project is ….
Father’s Day
It is nice to spoil that special guy in your life on Father’s Day. I have come up with a great combo to share with you today. I actually created it for my Family Fun Class and it was a hit. My daughter even made some great cupcakes for the class as well.

For this creation I used a combination of current and retired items but I’m sure you will be creative if you do not have some of the items.
Shirt
To make the Shirt and Tie you will need to start with a 6×6 inch piece of designer series paper World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper and Classic Garage 6×6 DSP (retired) were used here.
Cut a 2 inch piece for the tie and use the 4 inch piece to fold into the shirt. I have created a video clip on how the fold the shirt and create the tie below.
To finish off the card I have embossed a whisper white card mat with the Old World embossing folder and adhered to an Early Espresso or Basic Black Card mat and attached to a whisper white Card base.
I have punched out a label with the Tailored Tag punch and stamped on the sentiment. Then punched a banner using the Banner Pick a Punch.
Once you have folded your shirt place some Metalic or Iridesent pearls down the front for Buttons and adhere to your card.
Bottle Topper
You will need 1 1/2 inch circle punch, paper trimmer with score blade and some tear tape.
I have also included the construction of the Bottle topper in the video below.

Start with a piece of card stock 7cm x 17cm. On the long side score at 7cm, 1.75cm & 1cm. Then from the 7cm score line score along both edges to the bottom at 1.75cm & 2.5cm. Cut along solid lines and remove excess card as shown.

Place tear tape in the locations as shown above. Take the circle punch and punch out a whole in the 7cm section. Fold all score lines and start to assemble by placing your chocolate( I have used the MERCI chocolates from Aldi) in the middle and fold up the bottom flap and remove the tape. Fold over the side panel that does not have tape first. Then finally remove the tape from the other side panel and adhere closed.

You can now adhere the tie piece to the front and decorate as you wish. I have used the Well Said Stamp set and the Well Written Dies. I have also used the mustache die (retired). When you have finished embellishing your bottle topper you can slip it over his favourite beverage or condiment ready to be gifted.
