Freshly Brewed Projects: One Stamp Three Ways

The inspiration for this Freshly Brewed Project is ….

One Stamp Three Ways

My inspiration for the following project originated from a Product Based demonstration I gave at the November 2019 Stampin’ Up! Conference (On Stage) featuring the Peaceful Poppies Suite. Here is a picture of the projects I presented. Some of the items used in these projects have since retired. I have revamped a couple of them with current items to share with you today.

This time I am focusing on the Painted Poppies Bundle only. This bundle has a great stamp set with many images that can be coloured in lots of different ways, plus matching dies. The possibilities are endless in the ways to use this bundle to make lots of beautiful projects. Just showing you only three ways is hard, but here goes.

The first card starts with a Calypso Coral card base.

My second card starts with a Whisper White card base with a Poppy Parade card stock mat.

  • Stamp poppy and leaf images on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and using the splatter and solid stamp images to add the ink colour.
  • Die cut out these images.
  • The background was created by using White Embossing Paste and a mask.
  • Bow is tied with Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon
  • Finished by stamping the Thank You sentiment from Peaceful Moments Stamp set.

My third card is a revamp of a card from my onstage presentation. Starting with a Pool Party Card Base the front has been embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. Bit hard to see in this Photo.

  • Cut a shape with the Stitched Rectangle Dies from Whisper White card stock.
  • Stamp image with memento ink and colour with Water Colour pencils.
  • The background piece has the poppies stamped in black memento ink.
  • Then using the splodge/splatter stamp images add some colour with Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral and Old Olive ink.
  • A piece of Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon is added to the top of the back ground before adhering to the card base.
  • Embellished with basic pearls.

This bundle is still one of my all time favourites. I hope you have been inspired to create with it.
