Freshly Brewed Projects: Foiled

The inspiration for this Freshly Brewed Project is ….

Foiled

There are a numbers of different ways to add our foil sheets to your projects. It can be stamped on, cut out with punches and dies, embossed with embossing folders or just cut to size to add texture, contrast and backing to your paper crafting. Here are a couple of ways I like to use it in my projects.

For the below card I wanted to showcase the gold foil sheets, using Dies to cut out shapes and images.

I created this card using the Dies, Designers Series Paper and the flowers embellishments from the Boho Indigo Product Medley. I also used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the frame from the gold foil. You can’t quite see the detail in this photo but I also used one of the Vanilla embossed papers also from the Boho Indigo Product Medley for the background behind the Vase of Flowers.

For this card I wanted to showcase the Copper Foil Sheets making the background my focus by embossing it. I love how the foil really shows the detail of the pattern when embossed.

Using the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder and Copper Foil Sheets I made this amazing background for my card. I then paired it with the Nothings Better Than Bundle, Early espresso and Cinnamon Cider to create this fun card.

I also cut out the word Chocolate 4 times and layered them on top of each other and covered the stamped chocolates with fine tip glue to give them a glossy finish.

Hop on over to see what my friends that have also created beautiful cards using Foil Sheets.
