Freshly Brewed Projects: My Favourite Suite

The inspiration for this Freshly Brewed Project is My Favourite Suite… There are to many to pick from which one do I choose???

I have chosen the Playful Pets Suite. This blog hop is the perfect incentive to unwrap this suite and play. I have so many ideas running around in my head just waiting to be created. This is such a fun stamp set with cute images that will appeal to most dog & cat lovers out there. With the Pampered Pets Bundle coordinating Designer Series Paper and ribbon Trim Combo plus Trinkets you will have fun creating just as much as I have.

This Pop out Swing card was inspired by Glenda Calkins. I found the instructions for this card by Julie Davison.

I have used the Pampered Pets Bundle and stamped the image with Stazon ink on the Cinnamon Cider Velveteen Sheet and cut out with the coordinating die. I then threaded one of the Playful Pets Trinkets onto some ribbon and made a collar for the dog.

For the next card I got some inspiration from the Scrappy Strips Technique by Bruno Bertucci.

To make the card I cut random strips of the Playful Pets DSP and also real red card stock. I also used the paw print die to cut images on the red strips. I then created my pattern and adhered them to a basic black card. I cut the dog image from the DSP as well with the matching die from the Pets die set.

For the circle cat card I stamped the cat image on the Cinnamon Cider Velveteen Sheet and die cut the image tied a trinket on white ribbon and adhered around the cat. Using the Layering Circles Dies I cut out a variety of sizes and embossed with the Old world Paper 3D folder. I also stamped the circle image and sentiment from the stamp set Comfort and Hope.

For the second card I cut strips of DSP and used the Banner Triple punch. I fussy cut out the cat image from the DSP. I added some twine from the Playful Pets Trim Combo to embellish.

Like I said this suite is Fun and Full of Cuteness. I hope I have inspired you to play with this Suite.
