The inspiration for this Freshly Brewed Project is ….
Share Sunshine
Join me and some of my friends in this blog hop to showcase cards and projects that will Share Sunshine to friends and family during this time of social distancing and uncertainty. #sharesunshine – this was an initiative created by Sara Douglass CEO of Stampin’ Up!
This card meets a few challenges for me this week. Other than a project for this blog hop it meets the challenge I set for my Stamping Team, Capital Crafters. They had to learn and create a project using a fun fold. It was also inspiration for a class next month. I discovered this card on Ronda Wade’s Facebook Page Creating Success with Ronda Wade , thanks Ronda for the inspiration.

For this creation I used the stamp sets, ribbon, gilded gems and designer series paper all from the Ornate Garden Suite.
The card measurements have been reconfigured to metric. Take an A4 piece of card stock cut lengthwise at 10.5cm this will give you 2 card bases.

- Score card base at 17.4cm.
- On the larger scored section of your card measure 2.5cm up for the bottom and score in 2.5cm now measure up 5cm and score in 2.5cm Do this on both sides, only scoring to 2.5cm.
- Measure in 2.5cm on from the 17.4cm sore line and cut down to the first 2.5cm score line from the bottom of the card. Do this on both sides.
- On the middle piece that you cut, measure down 2,5cm from the 17.4cm score line and score between the two cut lines.
Fold card on score lines to look like the photo below.

To decorate the card you will need 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper cut to 2.25cm x 12cm for the side panels and 1 piece cut to 5cm x 12cm for the middle section.
To complete the card I have used Whisper White card stock for the bottom sentiment strip (2cm x 10cm), and back sentiment piece (10cm x 12cm). Now you can embellish as you wish.

Now let’s go hopping …
